My dream team shake combines both Vanilla Whey and Orange BCAA to make a delicious creamsicle flavor that I could drink all day. However, I only make this shake on days when I am working out. I drink about 1/2 of the shake during the workout and then the remaining 1/2 right after I am finished. It gives me energy, keeps me hydrated and pumps my muscles with the right amino acids to help me recover. (that along with stretching!)
You can stir this shake manually BUT I prefer to use my beloved Ninja Blender (click here to buy on Amazon). This blender comes with individual shake cups so you can easily make a single serving shake and then drink it right out of the cup! So convenient and easy and you don’t get chunks of protein in your mouth.
WHERE TO BUY
I buy the Muscle Milk Vanilla whey protein at Costco, however they don’t sell it online. It costs 44.99 regularly at Costco but I suggest waiting until it goes on sale and then stock up! The price goes down to somewhere around $36.99 so its a huge savings. They do sell it on Amazon but it is much more expensive (click here to see on Amazon).
I buy the Optimum Nutrition Orange BCAA on Amazon (click here to buy BCAA on amazon) and love it! I will usually buy 2-4 at a time and just keep them handy.
