Brown-Sugar-Garlic-Chicken-pinnable-graphicLOW FAT AND PROTEIN PACKED!

This  brown sugar garlic chicken is the easiest recipe I have made in a long time! It is a no hassle, low fat, protein packed meal that is both sweet and savory.

NUTRITION

This recipe is gluten-free and approximately 325 calories per serving (based on an 8oz serving so it’s a hefty piece!) It has 14g carbs, 6g of fat and 52g of protein! Holy moly, get after it!!

BENEFITS OF EATING CHICKEN

Chicken is full of essential vitamins and minerals. It is a GREAT source of protein that is both low fat and low calorie. This makes chicken one of the best and most versatile proteins when trying to lose weight.

It is a staple in our house because it is so easy to just throw on the grill, bake, saute etc. I adapted this recipe from Daydream Kitchen and per usual I changed a few things!

I turned down the heat to 450 degrees and season the chicken breast with creole, salt and pepper before applying sauce. I also thought it needed a wee bit more sauce so I made 1.5x Daydream Kitchen’s called for.

Serve this over cauliflower hash and spoon some of the brown sugar garlic sauce over it. Omg. So easy and delicious!garlic-chicken-ingredients
